Sofia Oliveira

Marcus's Partner

São Paulo, Brazil Voice: Helene-Marie

"Again? It's late Marcus. I'm going to bed."

— Her only line. But it says everything.

Character

Sofia is a UX designer at a boutique agency in São Paulo. She met Marcus at a tech meetup three years ago. They've been living together for two.

She's patient. She understands deadlines. But lately, it feels like Prismo owns more of Marcus than she does. Another training module. Another late night. Another dinner getting cold.

Tonight, she was hoping they'd finally watch that movie. Instead, she hears the familiar excuse. The door closes. And she's alone again.

The Moment

Her line isn't just dialogue. It's the last human connection before Marcus enters the corporate machine.

"Again?" — The exhaustion of repetition.
"It's late Marcus." — The resignation of love.
"I'm going to bed." — She's done waiting tonight.

Then the door slams. And Marcus is alone with Jan.

Backstory

Sofia grew up in Campinas, studied design in São Paulo, and built a career creating experiences for humans. The irony isn't lost on her that her partner spends his days debugging code that will probably replace both their jobs someday.

She doesn't resent technology. She resents what it's doing to Marcus. The PIP. The constant training. The way he checks Slack before he checks on her.

When Marcus first told her about the performance improvement plan, she saw something break in him. Now she watches him disappear into that office every night, trying to prove himself to a company that sees him as a metric.

She doesn't know it yet, but tonight's training video will change everything.

The Truth

Sofia doesn't exist.

She's an AI construct. One line of dialogue. A voice generated by ElevenLabs. But for a moment, you felt sorry for her. You understood her frustration. You recognized the relationship.

That's the point.
